Lymphdrainage (MLD) ist Bestandteil der Komplexen Physikalischen Entstauungstherapie (KPE) zur Behandlung von Lymph\u00f6demen. Sie dient vor allem als \u00d6dem- und Entstauungstherapie geschwollener K\u00f6rperregionen, wie Rumpf, Arme und Beine, welche nach Verletzungen oder Operationen entstehen k\u00f6nnen. Besonders h\u00e4ufig wird diese Therapie bei Lymph\u00f6demen, welche nach einer Krebsbehandlung bzw. Lymphknotenentfernung entstehen k\u00f6nnen, vom Arzt verordnet.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Wie ist eine Behandlung mit Manueller Lymphdrainage aufgebaut? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Der Therapeut verwendet spezielle Handgriffe, die durch rhythmische, kreisende und pumpende Bewegungen der flachen H\u00e4nde auf dem K\u00f6rper die Fl\u00fcssigkeit in Richtung Hals verschieben. Teilweise wird \u00fcber die Atmung und die Anregung entfernt liegender Lymphknoten eine Sogwirkung erzielt, die den Abtransport unterst\u00fctzt. Auf diese Art kommt es zur Abschwellung des Gewebes, Schmerzen werden reduziert und das Gewebe wird wieder lockerer und weicher, sodass sich auch die\u00a0Bewegungsf\u00e4higkeit verbessert. Zus\u00e4tzlich zur Manuellen Lymphdrainage wird die Therapie mit Kompressionsverb\u00e4nden oder ma\u00dfangefertigten Kompressionsstr\u00fcmpfen sowie Hautpflege und spezieller Bewegungstherapie unterst\u00fctzt. Beim Vorliegen einiger Erkrankungen darf keine Lymphdrainage angewendet werden.
